Recent Big Earthquakes

• A  rift in the SE part of the African continent resulted (2 days later) in the 5.3 Quake among the Channel Islands just to the EAST of Los Angeles.
  
  
• Now, the Canary Islands, just off the North west part of Africa finds a 4.9 Quake hitting 80 miles to the WEST of Los Angeles, 9 days after the inital high volume swarm onset.
  
  
• The Canary Islands'  swarm occurred started 29 April 2018, but;   is still ongoing.
  
  
• 118º 14' 53" is the exact middle point in longitude,  of these 2 Quakes: 
  
  1. Los Angeles longitude is: 118º 15' ...
     
     
  2. 07" less that the exact middle of the 2 quakes.

1. The  large fault (shown above) is  believed to have generated (produced) the Gran Canaria Island.
   
   
2. The Fault's Trench which all this old & new magma is coming out of;   extends from East-Northeast to West-Southwest, down to between 6,000 km (3.7 miles) and 13,000 km  (8.07 miles) below the seabed.
   
   
3. There is a magnetic undersea anomaly coming from this area ... from an older hardened part of the NW Gran Canaria;  its size constitutes about 20% of size of  the island.
   
   
4. The Magnetic anomaly is within magma that  was formed before the Earth's Magnetic Poles had shifted to their present position. 
   
   • Note:  Time span seems to be:  a duration between as recently s 500,000 years ago and 16 million years ago) and could coincide with the opening/widening of the Atlantic Ocean.  There is also suggested a sub-lithospheric channel flowing between the Canary Islands, the Atlas Mountains and the Alboran Sea in the Mediterranean.
5. So;  did Gran Canaria erupt (become strongly active) ...  just prior to... or as a part of ... the past  Magnetic Pole Shift that reversed the Earth's magnetic  poles at that time...  to their present position?
   
   ... And if so ... is it about to do it again?
