DCP Midstream states the time of the Pipe Rupture was "approximately 10:00 AM CST on 02-11-2009" The explosions near the DCP plant sparked a grass fire, scorched the highway & burned a trailer & several parked vehicles. No injuries were reported. "2" Explosions
- The first explosion happened at around 10:15
- The 2nd explosion occurred when emergency personnel were already on the scene.
- Employees were evacuated and the plant was shut down.
- People living within 1 1/2 miles of the plant were also evacuated... and a highway next to the plant was blocked off.
Carthage, Texas is 175 miles East of Dallas and is near the Louisiana border. NOTE: This Chart is an easy chart to read and see the pictures and planets involved ... which makes it a good study chart.
