- The U.S. ambassador to Libya and three other embassy staff were killed in a rocket attack on their car, a Libyan official said, as they were rushed from a consular building stormed by militants denouncing a film about the Prophet Mohammad. The last time the U.S. lost an ambassador was in 1979
- CBS is saying Stevens died of suffocation, while the three other personnel were killed by gunshot wounds.

- THEN; in response, the U.S. Embassy in Cairo, says; "Hey guys, its O.K., its all our fault, you guys are just great & we're so sorry you got your feelings hurt and had to burn down our Embassy.

- Assassinated (U.S. to Libya) Ambassador Stevens: The California-born Stevens joined the Peace Corps and attended law school before joining the Foreign Service (the career diplomatic corps) in 1991, according to his State Department biography. "He's from a big, successful family of doctors and lawyers,"
He spent most of his career in the Middle East and North Africa, including postings to Israel, Egypt, Syria and Saudi Arabia, in addition to serving as the deputy chief of the U.S. mission to Libya from 2007 to 2009, during the rule of Moammar Gadhafi, according to the State Department.
In May, one year after arriving aboard a cargo ship to work with those involved in the upstart rebellion, Stevens was appointed U.S. ambassador to Libya.

- NOTE: The Obama administration reportedly sent Andy Stern & the SEIU all over the middle east to "help them organize". They did and Tunisia hit the streets first. Now; the middle east dictators are being pushed out and are being replaced by Muslim Brotherhood adherents & leaders. Thus; a new Islamic Caliphate is working to establish itself. Other than Israel, the entiire middle east is Islamic with a sprinkling of Christians.
- To continue to fund these uprisings & civil unrest; Obama wants to send another $450 Million to further destabilize Egypt and Hillary wants to send another $45 Million to Syria; so the "dissident rebels" can buy more weapons. (Like the results of the State Department's meddling in Libya?) - (Scuttlbut has it; the Libyan attack was made with American supplied or funded weaponry).
Further Note: (The ousted dictators apparently didn't keep "kosher sharia", and while oppressing their people; did continue to work with the secular West.... a supposed "lesser of two evils"?)

UPDATE: Egypt has recently established new alliances with Iran & China.
- Two things always rise to the top: Cream ... and Scum. Meanwhile, destabilization of the Middle East continues as the Muslim Brotherhood makes its bid (with apparent help from the U.S.) for an Islamic Caliphate & Sharia Law throughout the Middle East. A United Middle East Caliphate under Sharia Law would have political goals peculiar to Sharia Law ... which does appear to insist.... that the rest of the world submit to Sharia Law also ("Everybody Wants to Rule the World"!).
- Additional: SCUTTLEBUT - It may be that Stevens was no ordinary Ambassador ...
- It may be ... he was in fact involved in a State Department/"CIA" gun running OP. He may have been sent to Benghazi (at such a dangerous time) to broker American weapons being funneled to Syria and the Muslim Brotherhood (& therefore Al Qaeda) for use in their attempt to overthrow Assad (for supposed use in their "Arab Spring" revolt).
- The "attackers" were also Al Qaeda connected... who purportedly didn't like the "CIA" meddling in their affairs (they may also have been Al Qaeda connected supporters of Assad). The Weeds Are Deep Here ....and info continues to emerge in dribs & drabs ....

Little Security For Stevens
- A small British firm (Blue Mountain) based in south Wales (Camarthen) had secured a contract one year contract (In May of 2012) from the US State Department to protect the Benghazi compound & provide security for American diplomatic facilities in Benghazi; YET ... they were Benghazi "newbies" with only a few months experience in Libya.
The company hired just one British employee, recruited from the celebrity bodyguard circuit, to oversee the work; and only five UNARMED locally hired Libyans were placed on duty at the compound on eight-hour shifts. (Click Here For Article)

ON NIGHT OF EMBASSY ATTACK
- A unit of eight special operators — mostly Delta Force and Green Beret — were in Tripoli the night of the attack, on a counterterrorism mission that involved capturing weapons and wanted terrorists from the streets and helping train Libyan forces.
- When word of the Benghazi attack surfaced, two members of that military unit volunteered to be dispatched along with five private security contractors on a hastily arranged flight from Tripoli to rescue Americans in danger, the sources said, speaking only on the condition of anonymity because the special operations forces’ existence inside Libya was secret.
- The two special operations forces arrived in time to engage in the final, ferocious firefight between the terrorists and Americans holed up in the CIA annex . In addition; they were awarded medals of valor for their efforts that night.
- “Yes, we had special forces in Tripoli, and two in fact did volunteer and engaged heroically in the efforts to save Americans,” one source told The Times. “The others were asked to stay behind to help protect Tripoli in case there was a coordinated attack on our main embassy.

- “There is a relationship between Lockheed Martin and the Defense Department, as well as the CIA, that ties into current events in Turkey and Syria. This is particularly relevant in the operation taking place in Benghazi ... and an investigation into where the ‘black-ops’ money went.

- Re: Petraeus & Benghazi Scuttlebutt: Petraeus & Broadwell were an "open secret" for a very long time. When Petraeus went to head up the CIA; he had to take a lie detector test and all came out which was duly reported to President Obama. So this "sudden" discovery by the FBI is NOT plausible.
- It's all about the Benghazi Testimony: Petraeus had to submit a report (To President Obama) containing what he would say (testify) to before Congress. Maybe Petraeus decided that saying it was all about a movie, while NOT under oath was one thing; but decided that saying something else while UNDER oath was quite another?
Either way; it would appear that the "dime" was dropped on Petraeus... but the affair was NO SURPRISE to anyone except possibly Mrs. Petraeus.

- Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer says ... that his sources tell him.... that President Obama was one of the people in the White House Situation room watching the Benghazi attack go down in real time.
- Then, both he and Col. David Hunt agree; it would have taken an order by the President to intervene.
- Further, Col. Hunt said that U.S. Military Forces were only 20' away by jet; and a couple of hours away by AC-130 Gunships and Special Forces Teams. Hunt believes the decision not to intervene had to be political. (Click Here For Page With The Vid)

Breaking news on Benghazi: "Doin' the POTOMAC 2-STEP ?"
- A CIA spokesperson, presumably at the direction of CIA director David Petraeus, has put out this statement: "No one at any level in the CIA told anybody not to help those in need
(AstralnewzNote: Petraeus continues to "weaselword" ... The "disclaimer" is vague... What people in need, where & when? The statement is too general to be useful.)
- So WHO in the government DID tell “anybody” not to help those in need? SOMEONE decided not to send in military assets to help the CIA Agency operators.
- A Secretary of Defense (Currently Leon Panetta) would not make such a decision on their own. Only a Presidential Directive would have this level of authority.
- Sources who were on the ground in Benghazi on 911 - CIA sent THREE REQUESTS FOR BACK-UP:
The first at 9:40 PM (Benghazi time) during the Consulate attack... the second & third from Former Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods... several hours later during the CIA safe-house annex attack which includes a request by Woods to help out the Consulate.
- Woods was part of a small team who was at the CIA annex about a mile from the U.S. consulate where Ambassador Chris Stevens and his team came under attack. When he and others heard the shots fired, they informed their higher-ups to tell them what they were hearing and requested permission to go to the consulate and help out. They were told to "stand down," according to sources familiar with the exchange.
- Woods and at least two others ignored those orders and made their way to the burning Consulate & engaged the attackers. Woods & his group evacuated survivors (along with the already dead Sean Smith) ... couldn't find Ambassador Stevens ... and got everyone back to the CIA annex around midnight.
- The CIA annex itself came under attack again; and FOR THE THIRD TIME they called for military support. Not only were there were NO COMMUNICATIONS PROBLEMS at the Annex (the team was in constant radio contact with headquatters); and one member of the team up on the roof was manning a heavy machine gun and had a laser-lock on the attackers firing the mortars.
- Their repeated requests back-up support from a Spectre gunship, which is commonly used by U.S. Special OPS forces to provide ground support to Special OPS under intense enemy fire.... was repeately DENIED.
