WELCOME .................................... To The "OTHER SIDE" OF MARS

1. The story says explorers travel from the Moon to Mars where they find a Face as big as a mountain.  The eyes of the face are an entry to an inner world  and a hidden "stronghold";  a refuge city for a race of Martian giants.
   
   
2. Suddenly the giant's city is attacked by enemies who live on a planet located between Mars & Jupiter.
   
   
3. The Explorers faint and "wake up" only to find they have been experiencing not the city itself, but a sort of holographic "memory" or record of the people who built the Face.
   
   
4. It seems the planet of their enemies had "blown up"  (now  the "asteroid belt" between Mars & Jupiter) ... and the race of Martian giants are no more.
   

1. Mars (named after the god of war) has two "moons";   Phobos (fear) and Deimos (Horror or terror).  These 2  "moons" were discovered in 1877 by U.S. astronomer Asaph Hall.  
   
   Astrophysicist Dr. Iosif Samuilovich Shklovsky  (world-renown for writing  "Intelligent Life in the Universe"  with Dr. Carl Sagan)  says that Phobos is in fact ... not a Moon at all.
   
   
2. Shklovsky calculated the orbital motion of  Phobos and came to the conclusion that  Phobos is in fact artificial;   and it is hollow.  What's more ...  he also concluded that Phobos  is  a Spaceship.  Remember Star Wars' "Deathstar"?  Maybe it wasn't too far off the mark.
   
   
3. Shklovsky was bothered by the fact that both Phobos & Demos were just too small to really be true moons.  In fact,  no other planet in the solar system has moons as tiny as the Martian moons.   So ... where might they have come from?  Were they captured asteroids?  No ... their orbital plane was wrong for that, plus they were just too close to Mars .... much closer than they ought to be.  Then too, there was the fact that Phobos ... from time to time ... changes its speed!
   
   
4. During the 1920's, Russian astronomer Dr. Cherman Struve,  spent months calculating the orbits of Mars' "moons"  with extreme accuracy.  So it surprised Shklovsky when, as the years turned into decades;   Phobos' orbital velocity and position wasn't where  or what it was calculated to be.
   
   
5. Shklovsky did his own study of the tidal, gravitic & magnetic forces involved and determined there was nothing "natural" about the  so-called "Moons of Mars".    Especially, "Phobos".   What Shklovsky discovered was that Phobos would lose altitude ... but then seem to  accelerate to compensate for it..
   
   
6. Shklovsky also came to the conclusion that  Phobos was hollow ... empty inside.   According to Shklovsky:
   
   
   • ..."In order to make this braking action so significant, and taking into account the extremely rarefied Martian atmosphere at this altitude, Phobos should have very small mass, that is, very low average density, approximately one thousand times smaller than the density of water."   But;   can a continuous solid have such low density, probably smaller than that of air?  Of course not!
     
     
     
7. There's only one way in which the requirements of coherence, constancy of shape of Phobos, and Phobos' extremely small average density can be reconciled.   We must assume that Phobos is a hollow, empty body, resembling an empty tin can." 
   
   
8. If Phobos had been natural,  with a density that low.. like a cloud or gas ... it would have dispersed a long, long time ago.
   
   
9. The United States Naval Observatory has commented on Shklovsky's conclusions ... stating: "Dr. Shklovsky quite correctly calculated that if the acceleration of Phobos is true, the Martian moon must be hollow, since it cannot have the weight of a natural body and behave in the prescribed manner."
   
   
10. THE PLOT THICKENS .... Speculations over what the giant artificial spaceships might be have ranged from massive Martian space observatories, to half-completed generational interstellar spaceships, or even gargantuan planet-killing "death stars" left over from an interplanetary war waged millions of years ago.
    
    Zecharia Sitchen's work had stated that Mars had been used as a base for the Annunaki and is the final resting place of one of its explorers.
    
    There is also a belief that a long time ago, to escape a cataclysm ... "earthlings" traveled to Mars in giant spaceships to avoid  a destruction upon Earth.
